Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon in the American Southwest. The Navajo name for it is Tsé bighánílíní, which means “the place where water runs through rocks” and that is exactly how the canyon was created over millions of years.
I am an award winning Lancashire-born photographer based in London. I specialise in landscape and nature photography captured in my native UK and on my travels abroad.
Much of my recent work utilises High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology. HDR imaging allows for a more dramatic contrast within the lightest and darkest elements of a frame, resulting in a more intense image with a near surrealism whilst staying true to its subject.
My company, At First Light (www.atfirstlight.co.uk), supplies major clients in the hotel, corporate, travel and entertainment industry with my photographic artwork overlain on high-tech illuminated light sheets. The brightness can be altered and the artwork easily removed from the frame to allow rotation of pieces. See below for further information.
All my artwork can be printed on glass, glass acrylic & textiles and is available for digital downloads. Please email me at email@example.com to discuss your needs.
I can also be hired for commercial photography shoots including: architecture, interior design, events, weddings and products. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with any queries.
I have wide experience of travel writing and photography (Lonely Planet, Rough Guide, The Guardian, Daily Mail, The Times) and can be commissioned to provide images, articles or both.
Nick Jackson Photography has been featured in dozens of newspapers and travel magazines and has won over 30 global and national awards.
My work has recently been on display at every major railway station and shopping centre in the UK, and galleries in the UK & Europe. I am also a finalist of both Lonely Planet & Wanderlust’s Travel Photographer of the Year 2015 and winner of Countryfile’s national 2015 Photograph of the Year.
