900 seconds is a photography exhibition containing 15 pieces of work that debate through stark and honest photography what we can contemplate in the span of 15 minutes. The work deals with emotive concerns that will touch viewers and arrest feelings that are maybe within us all.
My background is initially contemporary dance and have over many years taught, choreographed and culminated my creativity with other artists to compliment their work, ie musicians and visual artists. I have choreographed in the past, specific pieces of work to develop exhibition openings and to support visual artists in new ways.
This is my first photography project and I wanted to capture my experience of the body being used as a powerful force of communication to project real life and its many journeys.
